
Chicago, IL — The Association for Print Technologies announced the seven winners of its RED HOT Technologies Vanguard Awards on the eve of its PRINT®19 event (October 3-5, McCormick Place, Chicago).
All seven winners, chosen by a juried panel of industry professionals, were selected from 41 products and solutions that will be exhibited at the show and based on their merits as game-changers in the industry. Six entrants received Breakthrough Awards, recognizing products that build on existing technology to significantly advance its use, and one entrant was selected for the Pioneer Award, given to a product that is the first of its kind or entirely new to the industry.

The next edition of the show to be held from 12-14 Jan 2020, SGI Dubai 2020, the 23rd edition will include new show categories Dubai, UAE; January16, 2019: According to the organisersof 'SGI Dubai 2019', Middle East's largest sign and graphic imaging show, the total resulting deals made either on the show floor or resulting from new sales leads generated during the show. On the heels of a successful show, IEC organised the dates for the 23rd edition of SGI Dubai 2020 from January 12th to 14th 2020 in Halls 4, 5, 6, 7 & 8 in Dubai World Trade Centre.
According to Sharif Rahman, CEO, International Expo-Consults, "SGI Dubai 2019 exceeded our expectations with visitors keeping the show floor busy even on the third day. This edition of SGI saw an impetus on innovative solutions in the printing and signage industry. We aim to build on the momentum of this show and take it into the next year with new categories added into the show".

The landmark 40th anniversary edition of Labelexpo Europe 2019 has closed on a high note, with its largest, most international show held to date. A total of 693 exhibitors took part in the show, which took place between 24-27 September, at Brussels Expo in Belgium.
Spread over nine halls and covering almost 40,000 sqm of floorspace, up from 37,600 sqm in 2017, the show presented the largest offering of label and package printing technologies and live demonstrations seen to date. This included the fast growing areas of hybrid printing, flexible packaging and automation. Poor weather didn’t deter 37,903 visitors from 140 countries flocking to the four-day show – a substantial increase on 125 in 2017. India, China and Japan were especially well represented with large visitor delegations. Eastern Europe also showed a stronger representation compared to 2017, in particular Croatia, with a 51 percent increase, Lithuania (36 percent), Romania (25 percent), and Russia (14 percent). Brazil also saw a 14 percent increase on visitors compared to 2017.

Momentum is building for the 40th anniversary edition of Labelexpo Europe 2019, with just three weeks to go until this landmark show opens its doors in Brussels. With over 600 exhibitors taking part in the biggest label and package printing event in the world between 24-27 September, this edition of the show is set to be its largest to date.
Over 200 of the exhibitors are new this year, and will be displaying their latest innovations to an international buyer audience of printers, suppliers, brand owners and designers. This includes Canon, whose Océ LabelStream 4000 series UV inkjet press is making its show debut, and Memjet, who are unveiling their third generation printing technology which features new print widths and a long-life 4-color printhead. Other newcomers include GMG, Lambda Technology, Shanghai Spande Intelligent Equipment Co. Ltd, and Siltech Ltd.
